🧵 How I Make the Dolls:

Each Storytime Friends™ doll is created entirely by hand in my studio, using sustainable materials and a deep love for storytelling.

1. The Face
   I begin by drawing or printing a unique expression directly onto cotton using high-resolution art techniques. Henrietta’s thoughtful eyes and delicate blush are designed to reflect her gentle personality.

2. The Head & Body
   I sew each doll’s head from scratch and attach it to a carefully structured, posable cotton body. This allows for light posing and display while remaining soft and huggable.

3. The Hair
   Henrietta’s hair is crafted from richly colored wool yarn, hand-tied and styled in soft braids or curls to reflect her timeless charm.

4. The Dress
   Her gown is made from lush red velvet with silver trim and puffed sleeves — inspired by Regency and Edwardian styles. I sew each outfit by hand and often include historical or fantasy detailing to reflect the doll’s backstory.

5. The Final Touches
   Finished with ribbons, lace, or accessories, each doll is then boxed and wrapped with care. Every Storytime Friend comes with her name and a storycard for added meaning and connection.
