🌿 How I Make These Dolls:
Each Storytime Friend begins as an illustrated face I create digitally. I then print the face onto cotton and heat-set it for permanence. The body is sewn by hand using natural, biodegradable fibers. Hair is made from wool or yarn and styled uniquely for each doll. I also design and sew every outfit myself using mostly repurposed or upcycled fabrics. My goal is to create keepsake dolls that are safe for children, loved by collectors, and kind to the planet.

Unlike vinyl dolls, these cotton companions won’t fade into landfills. They’re recyclable, compostable, and built to last. I even restore old rag dolls when I can — because cloth can be brought back to life with just a little love.
